Love Manny and feel like our D took a slight step back after he left. However, Duke's schedule has been pretty light so far. Their big win is against North Carolina but that NC team got beat by WVU 30-10. NW took them to overtime where Duke won 26-20. They still have to play FSU, SMU and Miami but a pretty soft schedule top to bottom.

They haven't played anybody.
They beat Northwestern in OT.
Their only tough game is vs Miami at home.

Which begs the question.... Would an 11-1 Duke team get an at large playoff bid?

Yeah, the D probably has taken a slight step back Coaching-wise given that Diaz may have been the best Defensive Coordinator in the Country before moving back to a HC position. But that isn't a knock on Tom Allen, who is pretty well-credentialed himself.
