Eagles v Ravens Preseason Game Thread...

Not yet. Peters, Kelce and a few Polynesians.

Jordan Mailata is Australian. His parents came to Australia from Samoa, which is part of Polynesia.

Isaac Seumalo was born in Hawaii. His parents are also of Samoan descent.

Big V (Halapoulivaati Vaitai) was born in Texas. His parents are from Tonga, which is another island that is part of Polynesia.

and while Tom was validating my statement, Trace drops a dime for a TD. Trace is proving that he is an NFL QB.

Trace leading a nice two minute drill. Just missed a TD pass.

Trace looks better than anything RG III has shown after his rookie year. I get it’s pre season but I would feel confident going into a season with McSorely as a back up. You know if he gets into a game he won’t be overwhelmed by the moment.

Nice half by Trace. 16 of 24 for 204 yards. 2TD’s. A few drops. Didn’t see a bad pass though I did miss the first few minutes.

Miles and Howard got the night off for eagles RBs. Clement and Josh Adams carried most of the load.

I don’t watch much pro football, so maybe I don’t get it. I dont see how Philly thinks keeping their starting quarterback in a safe room gets them ready for the season? When you act scared you play scared, and that will most likely cause what they want to avoid, and that’s getting the QB hurt anyway.

It was nice to see Trace play so well. There’s a guy who never played scared. Can you imagine him staying on the sideline for a month?

In all fairness the Ravens did the same thing, and this is coming from a Steelers fan. After watching the Ravens in the playoffs last season, I think their starting QB should be concerned about how well Trace played. He's actually younger than Mcsorely.

A little off topic, but have been watching some highlights from the past few years. Gosh these kids are having fun playing for Penn State. I believe Trace and Saquon and others live on in this teams locker room. We might be under rated ;)

edit : Saquon's NFL rookie season highlights are …… (sorry bob)

I think next year and maybe the following are prime NC possibilities.

In the last 2 preseason games the Eagles have lost both their backup and 3rd string qb’s due to injuries for multiple weeks and had to pull a guy out of retirement to fill the void. With preseason games being meaningless you can kind of understand why they’d not want to risk their franchise qb at this point.
