EARLY VOTING

My wife and I delivered our mail in ballots to the Voting Office in West Chester two Fridays ago. Then strolled through town, grabbed drinks and burgers at Ryan's Pub rooftop deck. Live music playing on the street below. A crew of 10 WCU college guys sat a% tables next to us to celebrate one of their 21st bdays. We bought table a round. An overall fun afternoon. We've done our civic duty. Time to get popcorn and watch the inevitable shit show unfold. Living in Philly area we get tv ads for Lehigh County to the Jersey Shore and Delaware....none of which we can vote in. Election overload. 2020 can't end soon enough!

Well done and well played. This country needs more like you and your wife.

Had requested a mail in ballot approx three weeks ago, received it yesterday. Will mail it back in this coming weekend.

Since my state has done mail-in voting since 1998, I'll be dropping my ballot in the post office drop box and not waiting in any line.

I'll be writing in the Rock as my selection for president.

Not me...it might hurt the XFL’s 2021 season

Don't worry I'll vote multiple times for you. Everytime I contact my County Board of Elections about the excess ballots my wife and I have received they take note of it we send them back and then they send us more of them next time. LOL
I'm gonna hazard a guess that your local County officials ("Registrar of Voters" or some similar office) will be comparing your mail in ballot or your in person ballot with any other ballot that might perhaps be submitted under your name, and refuse to count more than one ballot. That doesn't sound unduly difficult to me, and it happens like that all over the country.

I won't go into detail, or give anyone any tips, because this morphs into Test Board stuff. I don't want to give anyone any ideas. But after receiving numerous Pennsylvania voter registration forms by mail, and calling the voter registration offices in both the Pennsylvania County Seat where I received them from and Harrisburg, I have discovered that I can vote in both Pennsylvania and New York through a technicality.

My "official legal" residence is in New York, and I will be voting there. But if I was unscrupulous, I could also easily vote in Pennsylvania, and have my vote count in both states. For the record, I will NOT be doing that.

I'll leave it at that for now, but this Pennsylvania mail in voting idea is a real fustercluck.

We voted already, took me 30 seconds to drop off our ballots at the drive through ballot drop off box. We have already received confirmation that our ballots have been received from the ballot tracker. I am sure glad we don't live in some lame southern suppress the vote state and have to stand in line for 10 hours plus. The south needs to wake up it is 2020 not Jim Crow 1920.

so many fraudulent things going on, yet people refuse to believe it or only peg it with one side. my mailperson said he knows of fellow drivers who throw ballots away, election day workers writing on ballots to render then invalid, etc.

That’s why you have to fight fire with fire. The only way to guarantee a fair election devoid of such activities is to vote as often as you can in as many jurisdictions as possible.

Great advice. Voting twice in Pa is a $15,000 fine and a felony. But hey. Fight fire with moronic fire!

If you honestly believe that I was being serious then you’re a bigger moron than people voting more than once. Now go away and don’t come back till you develop a sense of humor.

The whole two envelope thing seems like a recipe for disaster, in terms of ballots going uncounted.

Hopefully in 10 years there will be secure online voting for the entire nation. It is 2020 after all, the hell with the post office and paper anything. I have been trading and banking online for over 20 years and have not had a single issue. If I can invest and make 1000’s of trades online securely and pay bills etc voting should be a piece of cake. I am sure the fear mongers who want to live in the past or suppress the right to vote will fight it but the generation coming up has enough smarts to make paper voting go the way of the horse and buggy.

I Pa. if you go to a polling place to vote you must hand in your mail in ballot if you received one in order to vote. And they know if you received one.

The horses and buggies are plentiful in much of PA. Great idea but far too advanced (I only part kid). Plus, if online, harvesting votes that were not going to be used will be much easier. Say 25% of people still decide not to vote, you don't think plenty of spoof accounts will harvest any unused voting registrations?

You can sign all documents for a home purchase online via docusign, no worry on spoof accounts. If they want to register you online believe me they already know who you are and can authenticate you via multiple channels. .

Voted in PA with a mail in ballot about 10 days ago. Dropped it off at a collection box and called in to make sure it counted since im almost positive I forgot to sign the envelop like im supposed to. They said my name showed on the computer as vote counted. Apparently 2.7 million people in PA are voting by mail this year or at least plan to. And 75% have yet to return the ballots.

Fedex it or send it certified mail.

Hey MtNit:

Hope you are well and safe.

Was able to play Conway Farms in Lake Forest on Tues. Golf Digest has them #10 in IL (Skokie is #9😉).

Despite the windiest day I’ve ever played golf, had a great time. Probably covers 3-4 times the acreage of SCC. Hit the ball better than any day since my knee replacement 3 years ago.

I had marshaled at CF back in 2013 when they first hosted the BMW. Was on their par 5 8th hole for 3 days. So on Tues it turned out the 8th was my only double bogey on the front 9. Life sometimes is just not fair.....not fair at all!

Then we have Mr Gambit whose life is always Fair! 😛
