Emmert may be toast

That would call for a Montecristo #2. Where only the best will do. @EPC FAN @step.eng69

Cuban Montecristo #2 ...yes
if not a Cuban,

run with the Padron #2 1926 or 1964

His termination should be for cause and hopefully it costs him whatever golden parachute the NCAA has planned for the s.o.b.

He will not resign because of “ cause”... he may step down and give the obvious BS.,, looking for other persuits... new guy has his opportunity...

But Emmert stepping down because of “ cause” I would believe opens Pandora’s box of the NCAA’s past... present... and future...

I ain't seeing anything on the Interwebs.

Scott isn't exactly the greatest of sources. If he has anything, you'd think it would be exploding.

Monkey on crack time.

As sad as it is to say, the PSU situation blew up b/c of a slow news day, lazy ignorant journalists, and viral social media. (PSU's response was the nail in the coffin). I think it will take a hashtag army which the media may actually pick up as a story to get rid of him.

Some speculation on twitter....today might be judgement day

Just thinking... wonder if all this happens soon... if for some reason they don’t somehow mention this at the end of HBO’s movie on Paterno ? As movie ends... they list all that has happened since his death...?

wonder what the legal ramifications are for Emmert. With the information out there, he might be looking at several dozen lawsuits coming his way, he will want the NCAA to pay for his legal defense. So however that is easiest for Emmert is how he will act.

Why is this a good thing? This just means he disappears into the sunset with a golden parachute. No repercussions, no criminal charges, no big deal.

The stark contrast between his actions with regard to PSU vs. MSU makes me wonder about Emmert. He came off as aloof and uncaring with regards to girls being sexually assaulted at MSU. We know how he grandstanded to let the whole world know how wrong and how much he was against the sexual assault of boys.

In comparing the two, it reeks of virtue signaling/projection and makes me wonder what might be found if his proclivities were examined.

To hell with Emmert and everyone else. Come on. Shouldn't this be about nice guy predators hiding in plain sight? Everything else is noise to me right now.

Yes. It is about pillar of the community predators......which have been discussed here at length since 2011. However, the media (once again) doesn’t care about that.

The people currently getting roasted in the Nassar scandal are the same people that were arrogant, condescending, and dismissive toward those who pointed out ‘pillar of the community’ predator issues in 2011.

They ignored the snake in the grass and got bit by it.

Maybe some MSU fans begin to alter their prior stances on pillar of the community predators? I think that’s the best you can hope for given the media coverage. The ncaa and media are more concerned with pointing fingers and getting bigger ratings in “scandal”,

(That said, I have no problem with anyone going after Lou Anna Simon and Emmert given their prior behavior and statements).

As much as I can empathize with the "broader MSU community" (students, alums, etc) - because, truth is, they are facing a lot of the same idiotic media/general public lunacy that we faced at PSU - and it is a tragedy to see any group have to deal with that crap.

But those select individuals who were tripping over themselves to climb up Moral Outrage Mountain, and plant their flag? Who used the PSU situation to maximize their opportunities to posture as Moral Beacons?

Those c&cks&ckers - LouAnna Simon, Mark Emmert, The CTE-damaged former Tight End (Lyons), and all those folks - - - - - ZERO sympathy whatsoever, even if the wrath they are facing may be significantly unearned vav Nassar. It is EARNED vav their actions wrt Penn State.

F7ck 'em.

If only those dildos at ESPN could get their's as well..... that would be glorious.
You forgot.........Dr. Ray, who reveled in our lack of concern over the victims while he sat back pontificating about the PSU culture..........then went on vacation and couldn't find time to read up on the pile of evidence (well actually there was near zero) that PSU should be punished severely for their complete lack of humanity. What a fraud.........karma says Oregon State better check their emails.

Wouldn’t it be a wonderful irony if the victims were successful in getting large financial settlements from the NCAA ?

In the movie Stalag 17, William Holden had a quote that i found applies in life when you find yourself being wronged for no reason.
He said " they all piled on, except he beat me the hardest."
He was referring to the real traitor in the barracks.
