I read the Notre Dame boards quite a bit and this year's ND-OSU game in South Bend should really be a good one as many feel this will be ND's best offense in years with Hartmann at QB. And against OSU's crappy defense ? ND could very well win this one or so they seem to thinkThese are ridiculous.
Compare OSU and UM to us.
We are 14 UM is 21 and OSU is 23Schedule difference.
OSU host us and go to Um.
We host um and go to OSU.
UM host OSU and go to Us.
Cross over ganes
.@ Ill/Iowa/@NW for us @Wiscy/@Pur/Minny. I give the edge it OSU.
@Neb/@minny/Pur for UM
I feel OSU has the toughest crossover. I feel ours ours UM are about even
Look at OOC.
YSU/WKU/@ND for OSU
Del/Umass/WVU for us.
ECU/UNLV/BG for UM
The toughest division Gane us MSU - OSU HOSTS we and Um go there.
my opinion
OSU has the toughest. UM and us are close we may get the edge due to WVU but they don’t have FBS.
Plus ND gets them early enough that their 60% new OL may not be gelled. I think if ND puts pressure on the QB, they have a punchers chance.I read the Notre Dame boards quite a bit and this year's ND-OSU game in South Bend should really be a good one as many feel this will be ND's best offense in years with Hartmann at QB. That seems to be the feeling on a few of the OSU boards as they'll have 3 new OL starters whch should be fine later on, but early? But, many of their backup OL in 2022 played a lot and have some experience.Plus ND gets them early enough that their 60% new OL may not be gelled. I think if ND puts pressure on the QB, they have a punchers chance.
Don't count on a ND win. OSU most likely undefeated headed into their game with scUM.I read the Notre Dame boards quite a bit and this year's ND-OSU game in South Bend should really be a good one as many feel this will be ND's best offense in years with Hartmann at QB. Comparing OSU and UM to us you'll notice that UM doesn't play UM and OSU doesn't play OSU...
We play both. If you replaced PSU on UMs schedule with UM and swapped UM with PSU on ours they'd be ranked higher. Ditto if you did the same with OSU. Obviously that's not possible.
From another source:In FPI OSU us 1 UM is 6th and we are 10th.
I get they are ranked higher but I don’t but it. Especially OSU.
OSU has the toughest 2 crossover games compared to us. All 3 of theirs are top 50. Our 2nd best is Ill who is barely tougher than Pur who is the weakest OSU plays. Then compare ND to WVU.
I have no clue how we have tougher schedule than them.
Every decade or so ND wins a big game. Same could be said of a lot of teams. But none of the others get the acclaim as the most overrated program in college football over the last 40 or so years.I read the Notre Dame boards quite a bit and this year's ND-OSU game in South Bend should really be a good one as many feel this will be ND's best offense in years with Hartmann at QB. You don’t have to go on the Pitt board to read those kind of posts, you can read plenty of them here from some of our so called fans. This is BS - I went on the sPitter site and they said we play only a bunch of “soup cans” way easy schedule and they should know I hear they are all MENSA members.
You're going to be really disappointed this year when ND rolls the Suckeyes on their way to the NC. This is by far ND's most explosive offense in decades with CF's best QB - Sam Hartman. Take it to the bank predictions:
ND 42 - OSU 35 (OSU gets a ton of late garbage points).

Actually, I think this could be Wolve1972 - just in a ND disguise. I've seen him on several boards trying to stir up the massesOk Lou Holtz
Why would I be disappointed? My statement about ND being overrated the last 40 or so years doesn’t change if ND beats OSU. I would love to see OSU lose. You would think that sooner or later ND would accomplish something to match the hype, but I won’t hold my breath. You're going to be really disappointed this year when ND rolls the Suckeyes on their way to the NC. I’m on the fence with wanting to see ND beat OSU. it’s probably a coin flip for me

At least you can read that site Thomas - hell, I'm still banned. They have no sense of humorAt least the worrywarts here aren’t as bad as the Rutgers fans. They complain that since joining the BIG they’re forced to play 9 BIG teams a year. This unfairness is preventing them from claiming their true status as an elite program.
If you even come close to saying anything positive about PSU, they'll ban you. There's a deep hate over there for Penn State. Maybe even worse than the Lair. Knowing you, I have a feeling you were pushing something pro-PSU at themAt least you can read that site Thomas - hell, I'm still banned. They have no sense of humor![]()
That’s because unlike you, I’m not a troublemaker.😀🥹😅😃😄😂😇😁😆🥲 No matter what site I visit I’m respectful, courteous and kind, just like a Boy Scout. The OSU offense will end up (emphasis on end up) being one of the top 2 or 3 in the country because of a better running attack this year. But I do think their new QB will need a few games to get his feet wet.
Travel around some of the B1G boards and there's a common theme - the B1G championship goes through the OSU defense in 2023. If they suck again, they'll lose a couple of games again this year to both PSU and UM and PSU could very well win it all since their game with Michigan is at home. If OSU can even improve to an average high school defense this coming year, it could be over for the rest of the conference.Michigan has a proven QB. O$U and PSU don’t.
Michigan has a great RB tandem. PSU does, too but not O$U.
Michigan and PSU have great defenses. O$U doesn’t.
Michigan and PSU have pretty darn OLs. O$U doesn’t.
I’m not buying O$U stock especially early on the road in South Bend. They got great receivers, that’s it.
Michigan is the team to beat and PSU gets them at the Beav! I wouldn’t be surprised if they aren’t #1 at that point.
Yeah, agree, the OSU RBs will be very, very good and deep if they can stay healthy this year unlike 2022. No idea why some think their offense will have any weaknesses. Their whole season rides on their defense and that shouldn't be any big revelation to anyone that even remotely follows CFTravel around some of the B1G boards and there's a common theme - the B1G championship goes through the OSU defense in 2023. And Jesus, do you know anything about the RBs at those 3 schools? OSU might have the deepest RB room in the country this year if - a big if - they can stay healthy unlike 2022. Their top 3 RBs going into 2022, former HS #1 Henderson, #6 Evan Pryor and Miyan Williams all suffered injury plagued seasons which left a good part of the load to true freshman Dallan Hayden. All 4 are returning this year after Tennessee tried in vain to get Hayden to transfer back to his home state.
And when was the last time you saw an OSU OL that wasn't really good? They lose OL players to the NFL every year
I think their OL will take some time to gel with 3 new starters replacing nfl guys. Notre Dame may just catch you early enough to exploit that. And Michigan has dominated you upfront for 2 years now. PSU has a chance to exploit that OL as well with some of our athletes. Your OL should be improved by the time we play you.Yeah, agree, the OSU RBs will be very, very good and deep if they can stay healthy this year unlike 2022. The O$U tandem is third behind scUM and PSU… I don’t read HS clippings. They’re OL maybe #3, too, with an inexperienced QB. All world WRs for sure. The offense is not what it was the last few years because it doesn’t have a Fields or Stroud. Just by your standards. The point was that OSU goes 4-deep at RB and ESPN recently labeled them the deepest in the country. Henderson had close to 1600 total yards as a Freshman before he was hurt last year as a sophomore. Those aren't HS stats EinsteinThe O$U tandem is third behind scUM and PSU… I don’t read HS clippings. They’re OL maybe #3, too, with an inexperienced QB. All world WRs for sure.
