They better beat Michigan tonight because the schedule gets more difficult after that.
next two weeks are tough. 3 of 4 in the top 15. UM is the 'easy' one and it's on the road.
For what it’s worth, tonight might be the biggest underdog that we’ll be over the next two weeks (I’d have it as about one point higher against Purdue, but depends on how people view the HCA in that one).
They just put a whooping on Maryland and this is a road game for UM so it won't be easy. But if the can't win this one which games will they win? They'll have to be .500 in conference to make the dance.
Based on Pomeroy, there are 11 games (of our remaining 17) that we are more likely to win than tonight's game.
Based on Torvik, it's 10 more (he's higher on Wisconsin than Michigan, while Pomeroy is the opposite).
To be .500 in conference, we'd need to win 8 more.
I assume that's because they give the home team a big advantage. I'm just skeptical that we can beat the stronger teams at home.
We had a punchers chance tonight and scrapped. Funk had a game tying 3 attempt go halfway down and pop out with about 50 secs left. Wheel off the wagon after that....10 point loss not indicative of the way we battled.
We will need to win 2 or 3 of these types of games, because we always seem to blow a tire against at least one team we should beat.
