Would love it if we only gave up 11.2 on the ground but I found the typo.ESPN names Penn State's defense among the top five nationally

i generally agree. I hope that we can utilize the RBs more in passing....something that by the end of Clifford's career it got a little bit better at.....but definately something that we should be doing more. Can our WRs win 1 0n 1 battles against the good defenses? Can the OL hold up against the U of M lines? Can the DTs hold up against power running team? questions that need answered. Outside of injuries we seem very strong at RB, DB, TE, DE and LB. OL on paper should be very good, especially if they can continue the progression that was made from 21 to 22....similar jump in 23 would make this a very strong team. QB, WR and DT are somewhat the questions.... but I think that I have more confidence in the DT room than the WR....we really need the transfers to be contributors....and then their is the QB. I have high hopes for Allar, I do think that he will improve through 2023...if the rest of the areas are good he only needs to be solid for us to win 9 games.....to go further he will have to play well.I hate to put it on him but a lot of this season is going to come down to Drew Allar. We are solid everywhere. DT, WR and QB are the biggest question marks. We did a lot in the portal to improve at WR. I still think we are a little light at DT. But until a QB does it in the game, he is unproven. DA showed a lot in his short time on the field but there is a lot more to being the starting QB than executing plays.
Excited for the season to start.
I wouldn't know as I put him on ignore a while ago and haven't looked back once!Wait didn't football savant Wallace Breem just tell us a couple days ago that PSU's defense is suspect at multiple positions and therefore a liability???

What's funny about that step eng? Allar? You think Drew Allar is a question mark? Obviously you think Drew Allar is a question mark since u are laughing...not a good look step engineer.QB is not a question mark.
especially getting the ball to Singleton in space. That would be a great weapon if he can get open and has good hands (I don’t remember either of the RBs being particularly good or bad at pass catching)i generally agree. That’s because Clifford wasn’t all that good with throwing to his “check down” option for most of the year. Don’t remember which game but there was one play in the redzone where Singleton was wiiide open to the left side of the field, but Clifford got happy legs and took off to the right, completely missing an easy tuddy. Camera caught Singleton throwing a bit of a fit on that one.especially getting the ball to Singleton in space. Singleton had one bad drop on a downfield pass that would have gone for big yardage. Don't recall which game.especially getting the ball to Singleton in space. Jeez I hope you’re not this obtuse in your real life interactions with other people. So there was one play?
