The last 3 weeks have combined for a total of 45 yards. These guys are just wasting reps right now. Completely dominated by a pathetic Purdue secondary. I really don’t care if you put Reynolds in WR positions if he’s able, play Tyseer Denmark, or give more targets to Dinkins. But these 3 starting receivers are just not getting it done right now and their reps need to be reduced.

At this point we should mainly be doing 2 TE sets.

Put a TE at WR. Sure why not. Do you have any more stupid recommendations?

That's been one of my complaints with Franklin for a long time. His conservative nature doesn't allow his players to make mistakes. Allar is a physical stud and from all appearances a winner, but after all this time as a starter he is just starting to maybe turn the corner on being a great QB. Franklin was so intent on not turning the ball over that Drew was afraid to throw the ball downfield and make plays. He still shows signs of being tentative. Drew could have been slinging it last year with a few more TDs and probably a few more INTs and he would have been a much better QB at this point.

Could be the same deal with the WRs. Stick with the safe guys and hopefully win all the games we're

He won 1 “big game” if we can now call it that now that we know USC sucks. Didn’t realize they were that awful and will still almost lost. Give Franklin a trophy.

Funny! Trace does not have the QB fundamentals to be a QB coach and Connor has no credentials to be a coordinator. In all seriousness, Robinson has been respected around the league with a great approach and solid fundamentals as an NFL WR. He would have instant credibility with our current and future players and already knows how to navigate PSU. He certainly wouldn’t be any worse than the last two individuals in that position here!

You can't play without them unless you're going with 4 tight ends, and I just don't know how you could do that. You at least have to have the appearance of going deep. The young guys weren't playing because they aren't ready. I know everyone is excited about Denmark but he has to catch the ball not just be fast and run routes.

I never said to play without them if you read what I wrote. I’m for us using 2 TE sets a majority of the game.

Given our injuries bumps and bruises on the OL that might not be a bad idea especially when it comes to running the ball. And in pass protect too.
