I don't believe they will play if we start the game well and the game is in command if/when another injury occurs. I like what CJF is doing with the OL. Keep Fries and Menet redshirting unless there is no other option. We'll have a great OL next year if Mahon and Nelson come back....
I'd like to see Jenkins and Brosnan get some reps if/when PSU gets up a couple TD's on Rutgers. Who knows, Mahon is not out for the year and he may be back for MSU. If so we'd have Mahon and Wright at Tackle, and the interior line in tact from the start of the year.
They did not travel to Indiana, but that does not necessarily mean they will not travel to Buttgers.
When Franklin was asked about the injured OT's he said, as always, that he only gives injury updates on players that are out for the year. Then CJF said Paris P. is out for the year. As Mahon has not been mentioned in injury updates, he is not out for the year, and is "week to week", expected back before the end of the year. That's all we know. He could return this week, next week, for the bowl game, or maybe not at all. We'll know when it is mentioned that he is practicing.... which as of today I haven't heard.
Per CJF, he will tell us when a player is done for the year. Look at him saying so about Paris during this PC after he left the IU game.
I would agree with you except for the pesky fact that we play MSU next week. RU won't be a satisfactory barometer of whether PSU's patch-work OL is good enough to beat MSU.
Fries needs to play vs. RU.

I think Fries will make the trip given how thin we are at Tackle - not saying he'll play, but I think he'll definitely make the trip because we're down 3 tackles at this point (Nelson, Mahon and Palmer).
