Excellent article on Shareef Miller and PSU coaches, but

McLean may have not been receptive or the gap was too great to overcome.

I was thinking that too. Seems that the ACT saved Shareef and they had discussed JUCO route. McLean may have not liked what they were selling. Will find out soon enough.

Franklin and staff look like real deal.

Reports from Maryland indicate McLean was fully qualified academically back in December, just weeks after committing to them. Then he took other visits and went negative on twitter about recruiting at PSU. We will find out soon enough if he is headed to Prep school or for whatever reason is not on the roster for the fall semester at Maryland. Of course, the Terps also claim that their admission standards are tougher than PSU. Will it turn out to be another, "bring on the rivalry", recruiting publicity stunt by Edsell, just like not shaking hands?

has me wondering about what really happened with McLean. They laid out a plan for Shareef, hard not to believe they didn't do the same for McLean. If it is academics, we will find out soon. Feel the love and we are in good hands with this staff. All about culture.

Has it been confirmed anywhere that McLean qualified?? There seem to have been some deeper issues to go along with his lack of grades, like lack of interests in listening to the plan laid out for him to qualify by the staff and attending camps instead as well as some other stuff
