#1 son ( the Buckeye) grew up at Penn State games , and likes to look for OSU memorabilia for his collection.
Yesterday he presented me with the above statue sculpted by Charles Fields Inc, for Fathers Day that he obtained at a recent search . Better late than never.
Anyway, I got to wondering how many other old fogies may also have the statue of Joe strolling , and what number of the 5000 made they were. A sticker with the number is on the bottom of the base and a brass label is on the front of the base, saying, "Excellence demands Honor. and "Joe Paterno."
