Despite the total lack of 5*s in each class this year was kind of amazing. He said this was the highest # of them drafted in the 1R.
"10 five stars this year is highest ever, there are more three stars drafted than anything else because there are more than 1,200 overall. The two stars and unranked are far greater in number (like close to 20,000 counting all levels of college football) but they usually don't out do the three stars. There are about 330 four stars each year.
Bottom line is there is a much great percentage chance of a three star or lower to be drafted than the 360 or so four and five stars but yet 19 of the first 32 ranked four stars or higher. That's nuts."

@MFarrell you all pretty much nailed this one.
