Favorite non Penn State college sports team....

..making a feeble attempt to change the subject from the virus....

I am of the opinion that the Villanova Men's Basketball team is this board's favorite non Penn State college sports team....

Thoughts? Other options?

On a personal note, I am also a fan of the Springfield Nittany Tide.
I am a fan of white tank tops! Especially if its a bit chilly!!!

I'd guess Nova BB would be #1 too. After graduation, I did some time at Univ. Kentucky. Never really had a big interest in college BB till my years spent there. UK basketball is my #1 follow after PSU football.

IUP is somewhat local for me. I like to see them do well. They've been fairly successful in D-II football.

USAFA football. I thought I was going to go there until I came to the realization that a 9-10 year commitment was tough to make when you’re 16. Would have liked to try to be a flanker/wing in that old offense.

No input on favorite team.
But, must say, this is one of your best sig pics. Possibly best. Definitely takes my mind off of several things.
Thank you, sir.

There is a virus? Where can I find out more?

seriously, local pro teams but there is no emotional investment, just entertainment

I moved to North Carolina over 40 years ago and was bombarded by folks talking about UNC basketball. Duke had a bunch of players from up north then and I started pulling for them. I still pull for them, much to the chagrin of two of my kids who graduated from UNC.

I went to graduate school at University of Illinois. :(

I-L-L!

Illinois basketball for me. My undergrad and original alma mater. Was there during the glory years of 2001-2005, including that 37-2 national runner up team.

Illinois football? Meh. The 2001 team was fun, as was the 2007 Rose Bowl team. Other than that, it's been pure misery.

WVU and Clemson! I live in Morgantown and pull for the BB team and also like Neil Brown the new football coach. I could not stand Holgersen. My daughter, son-in-law and nephew graduated from Clemson so I also pull for Dabo and the football team all taking 2nd place to PSU.

University of Denver (DU) hockey, as we are season ticket holders... but loyalties are clear if PSU plays DU:)

I liked IU when Bobby Knight coached there. Also, loved the Sooners back
in the 70's. Loved to watch the wishbone. Honestly, don't particularly care
about any other programs any more.

As a Villanova grad, it's Villanova of course.
Grew up a Penn State and Joe Paterno fan, and was fortunate enough to marry into Penn State! PSUNovaLuvr will tell you that I married her for her Penn State season football tickets.

I lived in Indiana in the 70's. Loved the Hoosiers and Knight. Attended 2 games in Assembly Hall, Purdue and MSU. Liked Purdue, too, but not like IU. Back then, no ESPN, but all IU and PU games were broadcast. Indiana was just over the top in loving basketball at all levels.

My love for IU basketball has waned a bit after Knight was fired. I absolutely hated George McGinnis when he played for IU and the Pacers.
