According to a report from TMZ, former Miami head coach Al Golden is suing his former employer.

Golden, who was fired in 2015, is seeking $3 million saying that it is part of his “separation pay” that he never got based on the contract he signed when hired back in 2011, TMZ points out. At the time, Golden’s base pay was just $150,000, but was loaded with millions in deals for TV and radio appearances, as well as heavy on incentives and additional money from sponsorships.

Back in 2015, Golden was let go following the worst loss in Canes history – a 58-0 drubbing by Clemson. He went 32-25 overall, and was just a hair under .500 in conference play with an ACC record of 17-18. Golden’s best year in Coral Gables came in 2013, when he led the program to a 9-4 mark and a loss in the Russell Athletic Bowl.

Coach Golden has since landed on his feet, spending the last three seasons as an assistant in the NFL with the Detroit Lions, first coaching the tight ends for two seasons under Jim Caldwell before moving to linebackers under Matt Patricia this past season.

What's the movie Bob? Maybe It's on Tubi tv

Rounders! Kind of a cult classic because it was a poker movie right before poker became a big thing on ESPN, but I saw in the theater because a) Ed Norton is awesome in it, and b) I was in love with Gretchen Mol.

Thanks Mid'er, I looked at the trailer...1998, long ago. I remember seeing the movie or a portion of it. Only advantage about being senior senile, the endings seldom cease to surprise.

After watching the trailer, this “tough guy” video followed and I got a kick out of it.

Sorry Al, they spent that $3 million on the turnover chain.
