Has anyone watched this? No idea if it's new or if it's been out for a while but I just found it. I'm on episode 2. It is really good. Lots of interesting footage and sound bites and all kinds of behind the scenes stuff. Particularly liked the exchange between Kennedy and George Wallace regarding the integration of the University of Alabama. Irrespective of your political persuasion, I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately he was a sexual predator just like Jack and Teddy.

Eugene McCarthy would have been a better President for that time. His early opposition to the Vietnam War and LBJ was a brave stance - one that opportunistic Bobby took only after seeing how much traction McCarthy was getting.

Many of our leaders, past and present have been less than admirable. They say we get the government we deserve, I guess we have room for improvement ourselves.

I guess it’s just worse when it’s a family dynasty (like the Kennedys and Bushes) and the memories can’t fade as each new generation spawns an embarrassment or 2. I mean who remembers what an embarrassment Billy Carter was (but at least he didn’t kill anyone or consort with Nazis).

Just FYI whilst there have been rumours about Ike and Kay Summersby there is no real compelling evidence of one.
