Still noteworthy given Brian coached at PSU as well. Nice to see he's still in the game.
Looks like he was part of the Art Briles coaching staff.

I don’t think he grey shirted, pretty sure he played the entire basketball season his season year for state high.
A grey shirt could do that since the don’t join the team until the January after they graduate.
It’s a step up from being unemployed, which is where he was at with the new coaching staff at K St.
I thought a gray shirt graduated in dec and immediately joined the team. Keaton Ellis didn’t lay basketball this year because he graduated and is at psu.
That’s not a grey shirt, that’s an early enrollee. Most kids graduate in May/June and then enroll in late July and are on the team come the Fall season. A grey shirt graduates in May/June but doesn’t enroll until January. Since a lot of kids declare for the NFL before the semester begins in January, schools have available scholarships for the Spring semester. So a grey shirt = delayed enrollment by 6 months and you miss the football season while the rest of your peers are on the team.
