I want to thank Ireland, St. Patrick's Day, All Irishmen, All Faux-Irishman, Especially all Irish women, For Corned Beef & Cabbage, Soda Bread, Shepard's Pie, Irish Wiskey, Irish beer and for celebrating my Birthday today.

Nope. - think we’re doing a family trip in a year or two. My family is from County Claire, so would be a nice experience for me and my kids.

If you're not going to do your Irish whiskey neat, here are some other options...

Irish Car Bomb

Irish Flag

1 ounce green crème de menthe
1 ounce Irish cream liqueur
1 ounce Grand Marnier orange liqueur

Pour the crème de menthe into a shot glass.

Float the Irish cream liqueur on top of the crème de menthe by pouring it slowly over the back of a bar spoon.

Float the Grand Marnier on top of the Irish cream liqueur, again using the back of a bar spoon.

Do not stir and serve as is making sure not to jostle the cocktail too much so the colors don't bleed into each other.

That is good stuff - bought a bottle last week. They had the 12 year too but I passed (even though it was super smooth). Finished in bourbon barrels I think - raising a glass to both of you; slainte!
