Seems a little more hopeful on the O-line. Like most of us have been saying/thinking
it will be better but still not good. I'm ok with that for now.
Again, like us, they also think we have an upgrade at RB.

Sounds like OL and DE are the only true question marks on the team right now. With the skill position players all looking excellent. DT might be best in the B1G.

I would also throw in the kicking game game as being a big question mark. During a recent scrimmage Julius missed two simulated last second field goals.

I think we will be fine at DE. The coaches have already come out and said they think this group will be more productive than last year.

Couple videos are messed up. Franklin's video and audio are out of synch. But just listening to the audio is fine.

Hack's video brings up a gal from Iowa.

Perhaps someone can contact the BTN to get them to fix them.

Your link mentions 17 OL instead of 13 but I think that stat is meaningless. We probably had about 6 who were ready to play last year. This year we should have at least 8. I'm not sure if we'll have better talent w/o Smith & Dieff but we will certainly have more depth. I'm disappointed that we haven't heard more positive reports about Reihner or Palmer.

There is no way IMO that we can be better at LB w/o Hull. But our defense let us down late in a few games last year and that might have been due to LB fatigue. This year we should have more depth at LB. Wartman, Bell & Cabinda start but Kline, Walker, & Wooten should be able to give the starters a breather. I'm surprised we haven't heard much about Farmer.

I'm concerned about DE. Nassib is big but not explosive to the QB.

Surprised to hear that Gesicki is separating himself at TE. Much better than Carter or Brenneman?

I didn't see any comments about kicking.

i thought all comments were spot on... only diff for me is i full well expected gesicki to shine. AB is coming off injury and carter seems a solid, productive kind of kid, but not likely to be a superstar. gesicki has supah written all over him. he stays healthy, he should be really special. imo, of course

Gesecki just might be the best TE ever by the time he leaves. This guy was the best volleyball player in all of NJ and jumps out of the gym. The superior talent at TE is NOT being talked about. Hopefully Donovan is planning to use this talent similar to Obrien, in fact a couple sessions down in Houston on those specifics would have been on my action plan after the Blue White game! Let's get to Naptown this year, NOT in 3-4.
