FC: The Eagles Lane Johnson is in concussion protocol

Lane Johnson is in concussion protocol and Andre Dillard is prepping in case Johnson can't go next week against the Seahawks. Not an easy starting assignment for Dillard.

I think the Big V plays for Lane Johnson. Dillard gets confused moving back and forth, he's said as much. When JP went down the SB year, they decided to move Big V there and leave Lane at RT because it was fewer changes, I see them doing the same thing this time. I could be wrong.

If Lane Johnson can't go, the Birds are in trouble against the Seahawks.

I think people sell Big V short, they said the same thing about him through out the playoffs and the SB, yet they had no issues there. I think the bigger issues with them , with our without Lane Johnson, reside in the wide receivers and running backs. I think they need Howard and Jeffrey to play much more than Lane Johnson. That said, I think Lane will be a full go.

I like your optimism. They were two different offenses with and without him yesterday though.

They should have never let Wiz go. They could really use him now. When he was in they could run the ball more efficiently.

agreed, but I am not convinced, it was him making it that way, but IDK.
I always like Tony Romo's commentary and he kept pointing out that Sanders out of the backfield was an option they were overlooking. I agree. Sanders looks real good receiving the ball. He has 24 catches and a 13.1 yards per catch average. That is a real nice avg. for a running back. He is #1 in yards per catch by 2 yards per catch among NFL RBs.

I actually enjoyed Romo commentating on the game yesterday. For a first time in a while, the commentators didn't annoy me while watching a pro football game.
