Financial payouts, a home and home series

In a home and home series of out of conference games, like we have coming up with Pitt, what are the financial arrangements? Does the away team get some guarantee or an expense allowance? Or in a home and home does each team get to keep all their home game receipts?

Is this different in conference with the Big 10?
