Finebaum not a fan

Saw a video clip where he blasts the playoff committee for listing Georgia as “first team out” this week.
His example of the team UGa should replace in the proposed bracket?
PSU
Don’t kill the messenger. I think the guy is a joke.
Maybe swap the Bulldogs out for Notre Dame. What schedule has Notre Dame played this year? The A&M win is OK, but they have a bad loss.

I've seen an uptick in articles/commentary about Big Ten teams - and PSU in particular - being overrated and SEC teams should be higher. It feels like an ESPN propaganda blitz in full force.

It's particularly odd since:
1. If you are going to condemn PSU's (or Indiana's) ranking, the same exact logic would apply to Texas. Sure, argue for Georgia to be higher based on schedule difficulty but it shouldn't single out Penn St.
2. Talking about "who did you beat" without considering "who did you lose to" makes no sense. PSU (and Texas, Indiana, BYU, et al) aren't ranked higher based on impressive wins - they are there thanks to a lack of bad losses unlike teams like Alabama, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Miami-FL

We had our chance this year at home and our idiot coach ran the ball 3 times into oblivion and we had a WR that can't catch when it mattered. That's recruiting. Those plays and players were the difference and have been for a decade. Finebaum is a$$ but we haven't defeated anyone.

Im Surprize that mega shrimp hasnt been netted, fried and gumbo'd by Bubba and Forrresss by now...

As of today, PSU had the 32nd toughest schedule; that’s not that bad.

I'll give you this, when someone has ears that big there's nothing left in the middle. The only thing the guy really has going for him is his big mouth which matches the size of his ears.

Finebaum works for and is paid by ESPN. ESPN has no credibility and neither does Finebaum. He is a just a paid shill.

I’m wondering if Illinois sneaks back into the rankings this week which would help counter the narrative against us. LSU, Louisville and Mizzou should fall out.

Or what about Ole Miss, which list at home to 4-6 Kentucky and to 6-4 LSU?

I like the dolts that say PSU already had a chance.... blah, blah, blah........ so let me get this straight, all these 2-loss SEC teams deserve not only a second bite at the apple, but now should get a third in the playoffs???

Another thing about PSU: it’s the only team to go into the Coliseum and beat USC. PSU also won at Wisconsin and Purdue in more convincing fashion than Oregon. If anything, PSU should be getting more respect for that.

FWIW, coaches poll has the Illini two spots away this week.

I suspect that many SEC fans watch ONLY the SEC and know virtually nothing about teams outside their conference.

Crazy thing is, at least for this week, Boise St. gets the 4th seed, in all likelihood.

Top 4 conference winners get top 4 seeds and BYU is now likely behind Boise St., so the Big 12 projected champ will get the 12 seed.

And the majority of PSU fans think that Happy Valley is the center of the CFB universe.

The SEC has dominated the title scene for the last 25 years. Little evidence to show that is going to change anytime soon.

Well, except for last year. Oh, and this year.
