Everything's subjective at some level. My biggest problem is offering the 4 spots to the big 2. Why are you rewarding the 4th place team in a conference? Let them at least earn it by winning enough games to get ranked in the top 14. I would also make the SEC and the ACC play 9 conference games.

Because there's 14 teams in the playoffs--they're getting at least 4. It would have been Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, Indiana, Georgia, Texas, Tennessee and USCe/Bama this year--where's the problem?
We agree on 9 games--but it needs to be 10

If these two leagues are the best (and they are) why would they need to have 4 spots reserved for them instead of just earning it on the field?

With the conferences getting so large, I like your idea of 10 conference games.

Because nonsense like this year happened where the ACC got two bids--when bids aren't locked up ridiculous things like SMU being in the playoff over USCe/Bama happen.
And nothing is earned on the field when people picks teams. It goes back to the whole "deserving" argument which isn't their job.
At least we agree on more conference games lol

You realize when you use ( ) that you don't factor that into the statement itself as you're isolating it. Take that out and read the statement.
There are no divisions now so it doesn't even make sense to talk about this year or next as a division hence you said "at one time"
