What the heck are these kids thinking? There is plenty of time to take on adult responsibilities when older.
Silas didn't have the kid here. He had him/her after he went to USC. Devon Still had Leah while he was at PSU, I think.
I know that Devon Still and Novorro Bowman both had kids while at Penn State, too.
I could not fathom being a father at 19-21 years old and still in college.
They are thinking they would like to have sex with all the many willing participants in college. It’s no more complicated than that.
Rutgers had a player, Josh Hicks, who graduated this year and had 4 kids. HIs mother had to work 3 jobs and give up her apartment to support them.

They're expensive for sure, but also exhausting! He's in good shape though so hopefully won't be a problem. Congrats to him and his family! Always a blessing to have a happy healthy baby.

Well girls probably throwing themselves at football players so this is nothing new. Couple drinks at a party and then safe protected sex usually goes out the window.

I think he understands that, as does most everybody here. I wish any player who has a child while still in college well. Nonetheless, you have to admit that it will be difficult. The player will be in school and playing football (either of which are very demanding, much less both) and the mother will (in all likelihood) be back home or in school herself. Were you capable of being a good father at age 19 or 20, and still in school? I know I sure wasn’t. Not even close. Hopefully both parents have a solid family support structure to lean on. They will need it.
To be fair, this just as easily could've happened to me plenty of times at Penn State, and I was nobody, nor will I go down in history as one of Penn State's great 'players.' There's also a chance these are long-term girlfriends they love and will marry, not sure why we assume its the result of whoring around.
I give these guys a lot of credit for taking responsibility for their actions, having the child, and appearing to want to be there in an active role. Good for them.

Having children out of wedlock has become a very common thing. I hope Lamont and Saquan are ready for fatherhood. I also hope they soon get married to the babies mother. Parenting isn't easy and never ending.
Well according to the Instagram posts, they were together for about 5 months before she got pregnant. Hopefully they built a strong enough foundation to manage the situation for the best of the child, and maybe they really will be together forever and happy?
