Don't sell Dance short. He's a very good wrestler. I saw his win over Nico and he wrestled very tough (Nico should have won though). I saw him out-wrestle and lead Tomasello last year, until he gave up 2 stall points late to lose by 1 point. I think he has a win over Gilman, although the only result I could find was a 7-5 SV loss at 2015 NCAA's. He does have a win over Tomasello. I see Dance in the title hunt this year.
? He came back to beat Nico and then rode him out for the win. that is not fading. He is a very good wrestler and can knock anyone off. Wouldn't be smart to rule him out.
He's proven to be very good during the season. Outside of when he took 4th which I'm sure a lot of people didn't expect we haven't seen much of that during the post season
It's true that Dance only AA'ed so far as a FR. His SO year he lost to Gilman 7-5 SV in quarters, and then a head-scratching 3-1 loss to Youtsey (who has had some other surprising wins). Last year he got injured and lost to Terao (NCAA 4th). His only "bad" post-season loss is to AA Youtsey who has come in 5th and 6th.
