a follow-up to a recent question/answer on Mizzou facing PSU

For those keeping track, this is week 73, and despite promises he tweeted, no response to Flo's article about Olympic reffing corruption from Foley.

Mike C. is in his glory, as he got 5 of the 8 questions.

You can access this week's Mailbag at THIS LINK

The answer about Koll at the bottom was good. The rest of the column was dreck even by Foley standards.

To summarize the Koll answer: Koll passes on recruits if he doesn't like the parents. Generalizing beyond Koll: such kids are often headaches (act like or rebel against their parents), and the parents often try to micro manage the college program.

Interesting quote from Koll on recruiting--says he won't recruit a kid if he doesn't like the parents. I can see why that might not be a bad policy.

Also includes a fun FS match worth watching, Cuba's Bonne Rodriguez (who is 35 yrs old) coming back from a 6-0 deficit to tech ex NLWC legend Cody Brewer.

In 20 years the NCAA tournament will be a team dual freestyle tourney? Since 1998 anybody notice that much change in the D1 product. Since 1988?

When in high school I visited UVA and thought seriously about attending. Everything I have always believed about the quality of a UVA education is called into doubt when I read Foley's articles, or answers to questions. It is like the ability to process information in a logical manner to arrive at a thoughtful conclusion is completely absent.

I'm starting to think that Mike C. is an alias that many different people use...much like Alan Smithee for movie directors.

Seems pretty obvious that Mike C. is either Foley himself or someone who asks the questions that Foley tells him to ask.
