a long discussion about PSU wrestling in the opening commentary, a picture that included DT, a video of DT in the halftime multimedia, a Q&A that included Mark Hall, and an answer that included Anthony Cassar

For those keeping track, this is week 118, and despite promises he tweeted, no response to Flo's article about Olympic reffing corruption from Foley.

Once again it's the Mike C Mailbag, as he got 2 of the 4 questions.

You can access this week's Mailbag at THIS LINK

"The international wrestlers also benefit from a powerful program. We've seen two world team members from the Nittany Lion Wrestling Club (four if you add in Jaime Espinal and Franklin Gomez)."

His math is off:

Les Sigman in '10.

Cael in '11.

Varner in '11, '12, and '13.

Ruth in '14.

Molinaro in '16.

Zain in '17

Taylor in '18

That's seven NLWC members on freestyle senior world teams in the Cael Era (and nine if you count Espinal and Gomez).

Mike Evans is not impressed with whatever it’s called that the Penn State wrestlers are doing with their mouths. :)

Would someone be kind enough to name all the wrestlers in the photo in order? I regret that I don’t recognize a number of them. Thank you!

That's just the starters. IIRC "senior world team member" = top 3 at trials. Pretty sure Zain was considered a world team member the year before he competed at worlds.

So Foley fails both Math and English.

Plus Manville in Greco ... and was Provisor here yet ar his last go?

I think Provisor announced he was coming to the NLWC before the 2017 Worlds but actually arrived after.

Thank you!

No Shak, Verk, or Cassar. Anyone else missing? I am in the camp of admiring Schnupp for working as hard as he has. He is squeezing everything out of his ability. And, that’s not to suggest he won’t improve. He’s getting what he can out of the work and will continue on that course. The kid will do well in life.

Hemida over Dhesi (or Parris)? C'mon dude.
You know why, right? It's Foley, so of course it's freestyle.

Hemida took silver at U23 worlds.

Once Foley realizes Dhesi is the Canadian freestyle national champ, and won cadet worlds, then he'll have to revise his title contenders list.
