I guess he was someone who didn’t think Mack Brown was too old.
Likely waiting to see who is going to show up with the most lucrative NIL deal.
I was hoping that since we were his last visit, he would sign with us; that's the way it seems like it usually goes, so I'm not optimistic. I hope that I'm wrong because this kid already looks like a real physical specimen.
I think looms larger as an issue for PSU. Otherwise, I think we are in good shape with him.

If that was the case he would not have committed to UNC in the first place. He is waiting to see who they hire.
All of the above are probably in play but the biggest factor in my mind is geography.
Kernersville is about an hour to Chapel Hill on Rt 40. It is over 7 hours to State College on 81 on a non game day and obviously more on a Saturday.
That is similar in distance to both of my kids' final choices- the closer one's were Penn and F&M each 45 minutes from my home. The further one's were Wake and Dartmouth each about 8 hours.
Unfortunately they both ended up at the non local choices- which was a lot of driving and limited opportunities for impromptu visits.
Chapel Hill is beautiful and is a heckuva good school with deep connections everywhere too. Don't blame the kid for waiting to find out the details.
It is actually refreshing and is favorable for the young man's future- wherever he ends up.
Well, that sure won't be UNC. If you're correct of the team's listed LSU is the favorite in that respect.
