Where do you think he goes future Rutgers coach? Maybe an assistant thereA shame that he won't have one last go at it.
But some program will be getting themselves a heckuva coach.

Wasn’t that match against an Oregon State kid? I’m pretty sure it was Left Coast....Nice article in this morning's CDT too, for those with access.
Frank was 121-29 as a Lion, and the fifth 4-time All-American at the time. In 2012, he won the individual National Championship, during which my favorite Tank story occurred. After injuring his knee in a second round bout, which he won 6-5, Tank was feeling sorry for himself in the locker room. According to Tank, Cael approached him and said “They don’t make movies about guys who have perfect seasons and win the nationals and everything is happy-go-lucky. It’s adversity and the test”, also asking if the Lion senior wanted to go home. We all know how the story ended.

I would love to see some of these young guys bring those western schools around. Make it more competitiveIDK if anything will come of this ... but Frank's wife Kera is from Oregon and is an Oregon State alum.
And so far Pendleton has not announced any assistants.
If Frank is about to be hired (the university hiring process hasn't yet fully completed Pendleton, so he can't officially hire anyone yet), that would explain why he is retiring now. Strike while the iron is hot.
