I think the Richt comparison is pretty good. Both seem to be good guys and represent their universities well. They win/won most of the games they should have, although occasionally lost some they shouldn’t have. Neither could get their team to the top level.

Richt was at Georgia 15 years and won 2 SEC titles. Franklin is in year 10 at Penn St with 1 Big Ten title.

I had forgotten that Richt was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2021.
