Franklin threw some heat with the first pitch today

No surprise there. I could tell he still had a cannon when he was throwing t-shirts in the stands at the ice hockey games.
Ken Singleton, Yankee announcer, just said he met with Coach before the game and had his picture taken with him. Singleton said he sent the photo to his daughter -- who just happens to go to Penn State.
Not the best view of the pitch. You can see that he had some zip on it and hear the pop of the catcher's mitt.
