Hello - I am a long-time lurker on this board, and I enjoy the discussions of Penn State recruiting and game analysis the most. I plan on traveling to Penn State for a football game later this season, and as a non-season ticket holder, I would like to know what website(s) are the most reliable for purchasing single game tickets? In addition, it has been a few years since I last attended a game, so what kind of ticket security measures has the University put in place recently? Lastly, obviously there is the ability to purchase game tickets from scalpers outside of the stadium, so what kind of advice do you have on how to approach ticket scalping these days? Thanks for your help. We Are...!!!

The above link is for Ticketmaster which is in partnership with the university for ticket sales. Anything you buy there is verified whether it's an unsold ticket or a resale posted by a season ticket holder. Depending on the game you'd likely be able to get something cheaper from a scalper if you think you can trust them. If you're willing to wait until kickoff time, they'll want to unload what they have cheap so as not to be stuck with them.
