What to expect from Penn State Basketball in their season opener
Penn State men's basketball heavy favorites in season opener against Binghamton Bearcats.
PSU fills the stats sheet with a 108-66 point victory. They essentially doubled the spread so it looks like a great effort. I didn’t get to watch the game, but wondering how our new transfers and freshman who played looked.
4 star freshman forward Goodman not in the box score, when 12 players did play. Seems odd. Is he hurt?
Not any longer, but he missed most of preseason. He and Eli Rice were on the bench with warmups on. He will see action before long, and he and Eli Rice will give Rhodes the most depth any Penn State team has ever had.
Jahvin Carter was extremely solid as the back up point guard. He was solid on defense, and ran the offense well for a freshman. Stewart showed why he was a 3,000 point scorer in high school as he put up double digits in a mop up role. Miles Goodman didn't dress.
