Worth passing along, with LSU winning today, Penn State's chances at an NY6 bowl took quite the hit.
Flea flicker throw past everyone including Washington. As someone already noted in another thread, not many 50-50 balls from Clifford as he pretty consistantly over throws them and makes them 0-0 balls........

Penn State's second drive started storng with Nick Singleton's run but Sean Clifford's overthrow essentially halted momentum, Nick Singleton had a drop on second down that likely wouldn't have gone for much. Nittany Lions punt.
Intrigued to see how the offense looks with the deep ball next year if Allar continues to show the accuracy he has so far. Parker Washington was open on both overthrows thus far and both should've been touchdowns.

Those are the type of missed opportunities I believe has hurt Penn State most over the Clifford era. Going up 14-0 within the first minute would've been huge, especially with how the defense is swarming. Could've had Maryland on their heels early.

They will lose to UGA giving them 3 loses and ranked below PSU. Bama is the real issue with PSU and a NY6 bowl game now.
Time for Allar. He could make every throw Clifford has…..and probably the two throwing touchdowns Clifford left on the board. Well…..one so far. We’ll see how this drive goes.

I fell for their game. I turned up the volume for the game, then the volume for the commercials was too loud.

Penn State has 105 rushing yards in the first quarter following Singleton's touchdown.
I agree with him in some games, but not when you’re chewing the other team up.
In general, it's been a very mediocre offensive line all season. Just not all that good. But Penn State's defensive line has been fantastic to say the least today.

I think he’s throwing it too high because he’s worried about getting it batted down at the line.
Despite the 14-0 lead, very rough day for Clifford thus far. He's 3-for-8 for 21 yards. including three poor throws, two that would've resulted in touchdowns, and one in a first down. Nittany Lions eventually scored after the first over throw but failed to do so after the second.
Carter will be the best LB in college football as soon as next season.
