Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Penn State heads out to the Midwest to face Indiana

No way should Cliff be throwing into double-coverage, especially when he is starring down the receiver that long!
It wasn’t double coverage until he stared at the receiver he predetermined to throw to. The TE deep was probably wide open.

Indiana wants it
our season ended last week
If the season is over PSU should be playing another QB, young LB's, and trying some new strategies like actually calling 7 yard plays on 3rd and 7 instead of throwing low percentage completion deep passes......

Since one of the Heisman leaders couldn’t pass due to the wind and had to run all day, I guess it makes sense to start a pro style freshman QB (eye roll).
I'm betting the OSU board is imploding with the way OSU played against NW.

Penn State's offense with 84 yards in the first half to Indiana's 65. Nittany Lions have three sacks already in the game defensviely and eight tackles for a loss.

I was a supporter of Franklin for the longest time but now I believe his is not a very good football coach.

Allar is the future - fail or not, put him in

All or nothing on defense - middle of the field wide open ever since opening night vs Purdue.

It does when your "pro style" freshman is more mobile than your 8th year banged up, braced up, QB.

Franklin's job is to put him in the best spot for success....today would be that. These last four games aren't daunting. Not playing him last week was the right decision.
