Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Penn State heads out to the Midwest to face Indiana

Where have all the loudmouth posing-trolls gone??? Yea, we really suck, we're outgaining IU 220 yards to 80 yards.... and holding IU to negative rushing yards.

We shouldn’t throw downfield rest of day
Just work the run game
Yep, that's the recipe for a win, but this offense needs as much work on the down field throws as it does on the run game.......

I know our linebackers are very inexperienced, but that’s the one thing I’ve seen again today as a need for improvement. The middle is open way too often.

I said--what's the impact?
If there is no impact to losing, why even play the game risking injury to players and the expense of the game. Why not just have a Saturday flip a coin day to establish won/lose records? Do you or have you ever played sports or participated in any game? If you did did you just play for participation trophies?

Nick Singleton is going to be working on ladder drills all offseason. Not sure I've ever seen someone be a split second away from taking a carry the distance but slipping or tripping right before he gets past the OL.

Still going to be a very good RB in the future though.

Super impressive kick out of Jake Pinegar who has been greatly consistent over the last few weeks.

Penn State 24 - Indiana 7.

HALFTIME:

Penn State uses a big second 17-point second quarter to go into halftime 24-7.

Penn State with 233 total yards to Indiana's 76. Nittany Lions have six sacks in the game and 13 tackles for a loss.

Sean Clifford finished the first half 10-of-18 for 138 yards and one interception. Had a few nice throws but the interception was brutal, missed a potential touchdown to Lambert-Smith, and missed another opportunity or two throughout the first half. Penn State could be up much bigger than 24-7 at this juncture.

This is a joke right?
If we're talking about what I believe should happen, no. If I was Franklin, I'd give Allar the entire second half. This game is over unless Penn State's offense completely collapses and Indiana's offensive line suddenly finds out how to block.
