Football GAMEDAY THREAD: Penn State heads out to the Midwest to face Indiana

Indiana's biggest play since their second drive gets the Hoosiers to past midfield. 23 yards for running back Josh Henderson. Despite that run, Hoosiers still are averaging just 0.9 yards per carry.

Playing Clifford makes so much sense. Franklin is a ridiculous coach.
After so much contemplation, that was your first post? No likes of any other posts? Just jump right into anti-Clifford / anti-Franklin?

What’s the scoop on Liam Clifford?
Does he have any upside?
Has size

Shoot. Is there sound in these message boards?

Figuratively speaking, yes.

Dude sneered because I said 17 points is Indiana's ceiling today.

My statement is looking pretty good now.

But I also said we would win with plenty of room to spare.

That's more important...and is also looking good.

aaaand Penn State is about to add on even more. Daequan Hardy intercepts an overthrown pass and nearly returns it for a touchdown. Penn State will start from their five.

Touchdown Penn State.

Drew Allar with his second passing touchdown as he finds a wide open Theo Johnson coming out of the backfield on a nice play design.

Penn State 45
Indiana 7

I know it was against two mid-tier and bottom-tier opponents but Penn State has dominated in both of their games after their losses this season. They've struggled to win games after losses period, to completely dominate in both games is noteworthy IMO.

Man that was a missile that Allar threw in there for a TD on his first TD pass - I didn't there was any way he was going to fit that in there! Big league throw right there.

Allar”s arm talent is impressive he seems to be able to make all the throws. We need to get some elite wide recievers
I tend to believe Penn State's wide receivers are probably a bit better than it seems. They beat Ohio State's DBs consistently last weekend, no offense to Clifford but he didn't have the arm talent to make most of the throws.

I read the number two and three nfl Jersey sales in October were psu players: saquon and parsons

He is really good on the run. Was good in HS too he can easily throw it 50 yards running to hero’ His right

Beautiful throw by Drew Allar there, simply don't see that out of many true freshmen.

Penn State 38
Indiana 7

What you don't see out of many college quarterbacks, much less a freshman, is the ability to throw it accurately on a rope when needed, or with gentle touch when that makes it easiest for the receiver. As Allar gains a little maturity and strength catches up with size he may run a little better too.

The future is very bright for that kid. We will get only two more years out of him.
