It's easy for Franken to voluntarily submit himself to the Congressional Ethics Committee. He knows full well that they haven't disciplined anybody in a decade. OK, they scolded Rangel. Whoop de doo! It's just a big waste of time and money.
This is pretty much what our government does. They accuse each other, dig up dirt on each other, and investigate each other. They also do a lot of fundraising. Legislating, working together, compromising, locking to door and not coming out until they have a solution, etc.... Not so much. Meanwhile libs want more government. They think it's more efficient than the private sector.
