On Flo today Bader and Lobdell (@wrestlingnomad) interviewed Thomas Gilman. The interview lasts approximately 40 minutes, but it is well worth a listen. It is unfortunately behind a paywall, so you will need to be a Pro member to access it. Over the years I have not been a fan of some of the antics that Gilman has pulled, but this was the first time I had listened to an interview of him at length.
In general, Gilman comes across as thoughtful, nuanced and intelligent. There is definitely more to him than the tough guy persona he throws out there sometimes. The interview goes into his friendship with Zain and how it developed, Cael approaching him regarding joining NLWC, how he believes he has changed and matured since his college days, the importance or lack thereof that money played on his decision, his thoughts on NLWC, his relationship with Tom and Terry Brands, why he left HWC and several other great topics. It is definitely worth a listen.
