After tonight it appears the Bucs and Cards will be 8-8 head to head this year with a series left in Pittsburgh. It also appears the Cards will win the Division easily and finish with the best record in baseball. All of that reminds me of a quote from Gino Cimoli after game 7 of the 60' Series. I'm paraphrasing but it was something like "Can't beat the big bad Buccos, I'll tell you that. They broke all the records and we won the game". This year the Bucs will win the WC game and face the Cards. The Bucs play their best baseball against the best teams. They will beat the Cards and then the Dodgers and be playing in the World Series while the Cards will be playing golf. So it has been written, so it shall be done. (Of course, after my Temple prediction, you may reasonably have doubts, but I have never been wrong on two predictions in a row. Well OK, I have, but just a few times and not lately).:)

Outstanding pitching performance by Cole tonight after some hard hit balls right at the Bucs' outfielders in the early innings and some questionable non-strike calls by the home plate umpire.
It's good to see Cole back in the grove. This team can beat the Cards in the playoffs. The Cubs cannot (Cubs are 4-9 with Cards this year). We are the Card's worst nightmare.
