Folks, question on GoFundMe.
I will be 62 in June. I received a MSIA June 2015 and financed that entirely through Federal Student Loans. I got a great position with Pinellas County Utilities February of 2016. Not big dollars but incredible health insurance. I was paying all of my bills and putting a little money into savings.
On January 5 of 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 4 Colon Cancer that had spread to my liver. Had surgery on January 6 and was hospitalized for 17 days.
My oncologist may not approve my return from work as she has recommended that I pursue long term disability.
I don't know what I will do if I lose my health insurance and I don't know how I will pay back the 50k that I owe towards my Student loans.
My question for the board is does GoFundMe work and how does one set it up?
