I remember the 83 Sugar Bowl well. I watched the game in State College and there was quite a celebratory scene on College Avenue after Penn State's first official national championship.

I think that Garrity was on Jon McKay's Sports Illustrated cover that week, if I remember correctly.

That play came straight at the PSU student section that was in that corner of the end zone. One of the top memories of my life. Just about the rest of the Super Dome was packed with Georgia fans.
