FU, I couldn't give a crap about scUM's win and you're notion that you are being "uber generous" to your wife in agreeing to wear a PSU hat and "root for PSU" is pretentious, disingenuous, self-absorbed, arrogant and, quite frankly bizarre imho. It has nothing to do with "generosity" despite the fact that you are "tone deaf" to the reasons this is so - you're absurd self-absorption, bias and pretentiousness (you even frame your rooting for your wife's alma mater as being the result of the generosity that your ever wonderful scUM created for PSU and your support).

Have no idea what your wife said to you when you presented it to her in this framework (e.g., I've decided to root for PSU because scUM won and I'm therefor feeling in a generous mode....), but as far as this PSU alumn is concerned, I couldn't give a rat's @ss how scUM did or how "generous" it makes you feel....please take you're supposed "generosity" to PSU here in telling us you are so generously going to root for PSU....blah, blah, blah. Please don't root for PSU - we don't need or want your kind of absurd scUM "generosity" - what this conference did in 2005 in regards to the clearly cheating at the end of that game screwing PSU out of an undefeated season and a place in the National Championship Game and the scUM fans repeatedly insisting that it was a "legitimate call" despite the fact it clearly was not to anybody who has even a remote knowledge of NCAA Rules, let alone supposed highly seasoned officials, refusing to admit the disgraceful injustice of what was intentionally done by the b1g shiz-hole officials in that game, SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT THE TRUE GRATIOUSNESS AND "GENEROSITY" OF THE scUM FANBASE AND THE b1g SHIZ-HOLE IN GENERAL.

Again, please don't root for us and don't come on here telling me as a PSU fan that you are being "generous" to me as a PSU allumnus and PSU in general to "root for us" - what freaking pompous, pretentious, absurd arrogance. FU - take your "generosity" and shove it where the sun doesn't shine.
