Seems to me James Damore had a death wish employment-wise. I can't say I disagree with him though. Anti-discrimination laws and policies are inherently discriminatory. They seek confirmation bias in advancing one group over another. I especially like this little tidbit from Damore...

[8] Ironically, IQ tests were initially championed by the Left when meritocracy meant helping the victims of the aristocracy.

Ah, how can we forget the caste system!

Look, anytime you base promotions on something other than merit you put the entire organization at risk. If your competitor does not institute such policy then it has the upper hand. I myself have experienced reverse discrimination in the name of Affirmative Action. As a result of proliferating said policy over years if not decades, I watched my company lose market share and profitability. Nonetheless, do you know what excuse the HR department gave me. It said our management must reflect the diversity of our customer base. So I retired early. That's why I'm able to have an 'open and honest discussion' without fear of reprisal.

Ironic how we as a nation spent billions of dollars fighting Communism only to become Communist in the end. I now have my own personal Fatwa on anything Google. Vote with your wallet. I do it on any company which acts up.

I thank you and have a blessed day.
