125 - B+ would have been A with back points
133 - C all heart and grit ...poor kid wouldn't even place in this years WPIAL tourney but no pin.
141 - B thought he should have beaten this kid worse
149 - A+ Zain is just a tortuous Mfer
157 - A good dominant win but no back points
165 - B good effort was in close a couple times, pretty good overall
174 - A the performance we all wanted to see out of Mark
184 - A looking for big move and almost had a few times but dominated as expected
197 - B- really unimpressed with this effort over very inferior opponent but finds a way to win close matches
285 - B+ good win over quality opponent would have been an A if he converted on tilt. Again, per past criticism against me, Nick does not put enough pressure on head....why no half when its so open.. Don't they teach that in CA? Any PA kid would be all over that. Anyhow, good win.

I have to temper myself.... want wreck to take down people at will (like Nolf)... so I can't comment.. Kid is only a freshman... fun to be a psu fan!

National anthem cost me an elbow to the ribs. When they started up I whispered to my wife "they missed". Apparently that wasn't the right thing to say.

You do realize Nevills was coached in HS by NCAA champ Adam Tirapelle, right?

Hopefully the last year for Cutch as a starter. Everyone else was great! I do think Nevills is better when he's weighing around 250, but I guess he disagrees

I agree with all of the grades except Nick. I give him an A. He totally dominated that kid.

It's amazing how he's become a point scoring machine in such a short period of time. That room and coaching staff have him on another level right now and he's a true freshman.

He's always had elite strength, gas tank, defense and mental fortitude. Throw in the neutral offense. Just WOW. So excited to watch this kid for 4 more years

Clutch is a major concern....Was hoping Cael would let Cassar wrestle off...Too late now...Clutch does wrestle some guys very tough....

Cenzo wrestled very tough and actually kept the pace hot and heavy. I came away more impressed with his skill set than ever. Cutch simply looks like a guy with very good skills competing his guts out against bigger guys. He has done well in this weight class imo. Suriano would get an A from me- he gets more aggressive from neutral every time I watch him. I noticed Hall looking to the coaches a lot in his match. I bet Casey is working some new top stuff with him and the perfectionist Hall is soaking it in. He is going to be flat out scary in a couple of years- remember when Zain was a true Frosh super talent who had to pick his spots against tough upper class wrestlers? Wait until Hall gains the confidence in his talent Zain has. Nolf, Zain and Bo may find a real challenge holding off this teammate for most dominating sooner than later.

Some general observations from last night:

Joseph with no wrapped leg for the fist time in a while.

Nolf's nose injury looked serious. Is he going to be dealing with nose bleeding for the rest if the year? Will we see the Jason Voorhees mask at some point?

Hall's work from top was impressive; rapidly improving ground game.

Nolf has been enjoying the addition of a scary bloody face to his repertoire of mind games a few times this season. I expect we will see it again. ;)

Next up is Eye Black

It became a moot point, but the scorer missed Hall's escape at the start of the second period.

Yes. They have to get the nose bleed problem resolved right now...That is his whole game plan to wear guys down..THE MASK WOULD BE GOING ON TOMORROW SO HE GETS USED TO IT !!!! THAT IS A " MUST "
