Curry will light it up with the 3, and Durant will dominate. lebron will get his usual triple-double with his usual scowl.

The Warriors blow the cavs out of the building and win by 20. It ends tonight. Durant is named series MVP.

That could well occur. But if it does not, then the whole ball of string could unravel for the Dubs.

These playoffs have largely shown that home court advantage is really important. Pretty much the same thing in the Stanley Cup finals.

Steph gots to get paid.

Warriors are doing exactly what they're supposed to be doing. It would be quite the embarrassment if they didn't win a championship.

(I have no issues with the Durant move, just stating the obvious)

Lebron and Kyrie will reload next season to match up to Golden State's roster. Those two are far superior to Curry/Durant, just don't have the back up support like they do.

Salary cap goes up again next year, NBA needs another game or two.

will the Cavs shoot like they did in Game 4, or will Game 5 revert to how things went in Games 1 and 2? Game 3 was a really close game, where either team could have won, and the Cavs kind of folded in the last few minutes.

hard to predict.

based on the first few minutes, it appears the refs are calling a tight game.

I won't spoil my Stanley Cup celebration by watching a lousy NBA game.

Aw, come on. Traveling (never called), wrestling, turnovers, no fundamentals. What more can you ask for from the best players in the world?

NBA tilted the court early for Cavs with phantom fouls to put Klay & Durant in early foul trouble. $$$$$$$

KD and Thompson in early foul trouble. KD not being in the game could make things tough for GS. Then again, Green seems to have stepped up his play now that KD is out.

Cavs shot 62% in the 1st quarter. If they can keep that up, they'll win the game.

GSW did pretty well with KD and Thompson on the bench.

crazy 2nd qtr. GSW were dominant. At one point they were on a 30-1-8 run, and also made 11 straight baskets. The Cavs clawed back with a couple of 3s in the last 30 secs, to make it more respectable.

at the half, it's GS 71-60 over the Cavs.

We all need root for Jeff Van Gundy to get another coaching job so he can be replaced in the booth. The other two are really good.

Great basketball back and forth in the 3rd quarter. It should be a great finish.

has the potential to be a captivating finish.

3rd quarter was like a couple of boxers just slugging it out. Neither team could establish dominance in the quarter. The Cavs did reduce the Warriors' lead, as it ended 98-93.

Steph and KD with 53 points, and LeBron and Kyrie with 53 points.

Durant travels every time he touches the ball and Kevin Love is pretty good at grabbing the defender's arm with his left hand and shooting with his right to draw a foul...not sure it's a foul, but it gets him to the line.

Warriors just have too many special players. Steph and KD are superstars. Thompson can help on both ends. Iggy is a great defender, a good rebounder, and has complementary offense (he's streaky, and not all that dependable if asked to carry the O). Green can score inside or from outside the 3-point line, and he's very good at rebounding and pretty good at D. The Cavs are a good decent team, with LeBron and with Kyrie almost impossible to guard at times, but they don't have any other difference makers. (J.R. Smith is having a really nice game tonight, and Love has done a nice job in the paint.)

It's great to see Kevin Durant win a title. What a special moment to see him celebrate with his mom.

I imagine he's totally exhausted but I think tonight was the worst game I've ever seen by James on defense. He was awful.

And Love was invisible in the first half.

GS is just so much deeper, their bench destroyed the Cleveland bench tonight.

word is the Kyrie got hurt late in the third. But, and everyone agrees, GS is just too deep. Kerr just goes up and down his bench to find the hot player. So much credit to GS' super stars for playing great TEAM basketball.

Durant should have been out early in the game with 3 fouls. Direct and clear hit to Lebron's face.

Lebron and Kyrie will reload for next year. Later K.Love

Complete sarcasm, right? Out of all the comments I've read, you would be the first supportive one of Durant.

Already talk of trading Tristan Thompson for Paul George for a one year rental considering George has all but said he's going to LA. If I was both teams I'd do it in a heartbeat. The Cavs have one more year. Lebron will bounce outta there after next season to make another super team out west with his banna boat buddies. It'll be the same year that Klay Thompson hits free agency and leaves to get paid and find a team of his own (come to Philly Klay!!). The balance of power will start to level out. This just happened to be such a weird year with the cap making a massive expansion when one of the best players on the planet hits free agency.

On a side note...how deliusional is Lebron to sit at the podium last night and say he feels like he never played on a "super team"?? I admire his play on the court but his stunning lack of self awareness is unreal.

What super team did he join? The 47win 7th seed Miami Heat?

I laugh at the delusional people who try and compare his move to Durant.

#1- I never once compared his move to KD's.
#2 - So your saying the team of Bosh, Wade, and Lebron wasn't a super team?? Yup...I'm the delusional one.

My buds and I were discussing this morning how that could've changed the outcome. If KD has to sit the remainder of the 2nd Q with 10 mins to go is it possible that instead of a 9 point lead the Cavs can push it to 20 or 22 by halftime? We'll never know but if the league was as "fixed" as so many people have said for years they would've made it happen.

I still can't get over how close OKC was to beating the GSW last season. The way this all unfolded is crazy.
