Unfortunately it saddens me, but I can't say that I'm surprised by these reports. Hack has always had accuracy issues not named ARob.
How many other 5-star QBs would honor their commitment to a school after absorbing a death blow from the NCAA? Hope the young man enjoys the life of his dreams.

Can't believe he was taken that early in the draft. Don't know what the Jets were thinking. Accuracy issues usually just don't go away.

Next week, let's hammer Mike Mauti! That'll be fun. Then we can hope recruits come here for the fan base.
Thanks for the inputHow is this hammering on Hack? The kid is being picked off in OTAs by one of the worst groups of DBs in the country and when he's not being picked off he's pelting reporters on the sideline. Who he is as a person and what he did at PSU has nothing to do with the fact that he is not an NFL QB. I sure nobody wants the kid to fail but unfortunately that is exactly what is happening with regards to him becoming an NFL QB.

The reason is simple. People were blinded by the throws he could make when he was accurate. He could make some throws that many NFL qbs wish they could. Coaches, reporters and scouts would drool over the possibilities. They would make excuses for those bad throws his entire career. In high school it was because he played behind a terrible online. Under OB it was freshmen nerves/mistakes. Under Franklin it was poor coaching and oline. He in the NFL and running out of excuses. You can only make excuses so long. The reality is setting in that this kid may never put it all together and is just simply an inaccurate thrower. The funny thing is back in the day I would read practice reports from Ryan Snyder and others and they would glow about Hack in practice - 'Hack is really, really good at football.'

I hear ya ChiTown but this is apples and oranges sir.
Accuracy = Apples
Your response = Oranges

So why not hammer Mike Mauti, per my post, he's not had a great NFL career and is unemployed. Lets keep bringing up any former players who aspired to be NFL players and not having great careers time and time again. How is this hammering on Hack? So, let's bash him every time some New York media outlet calls him out on it? Ok.

That will really help out recruiting as the kids can sign onto BWI and get a perfect example of how much the fan base supports kids that came to PSU in the worst college scandal in history

Hopefully, he hits Ganim in the temple with a bolt of lightning.
How many coaches on the hot seat would have stuck with Hack while McSorley was on the bench?
Worth going back and reading Andrew Callahan's assessment of Hack in his last year at Penn State. Was very fair I thought and many here regard him as one of the top writers/analysts covering PSU. I'll add - how much better do you think Hack would be regarded if a) Barkely was healthy and available all of 2015, b) the refs didn't blow critical calls against the OSU game costing us a chance at a win, and c) if Christian Campbell makes just one of two plays in the game against NW?
Gesicki had a ton of drops, Paris Palmer started at LT. if we are going to bust players, let's do it right.
No. It means you don't need to be talking shit.

Better yet, lets get their twitter accounts and direct tweet them when a PSU player is having a hard time.
But Mauti did have decent run in the NFL on special teams. Wasn't he awarded some kind of honor by his team for it too? I don't recall exactly but doesn't he also have some kind of a medical issue that has finally put the brakes on his career.
As for the bashing an hammer on, I don't see anybody really bashing on Hack. Stating he is not an NFL caliber QB is not bashing. It's simply stating a fact.
Oh, ok, how about Sam Ficken? Why aren't people posting week in and week out about how Sam Ficken isn't an NFL caliber kicker? why is a medical issue any different from accuracy? aren't injuries part of the game? Hey, Jessie James plays for the Steelers. Can someone please start a thread a week on how he is too tall, skinny and a poor blocker? Carl Nassib, same class, both drafted fairly highly. Browns drafter TWO DE's in the last draft. Why aren't people starting threads on how, after a year, he is nearing being an NFL bust?
These things keep me up at night...

BTW, how many PSU players came back and were invited onto the sideline for both of the last two Blue/White games?
