Like THIS guy?

No, in michnitt's case it's inter-cranial.

You could remove all doubt that you have a cranium as vacuous as a Hoover upright.....simply by severing your neck. :)

49 Minutes now.........and still "crickets"

I think a Dyson better suits mich-horse-ass because his head spins around when he sucks.

Seriously, if GM's are going to nitpick about his character over this particular statement while overlooking the fact that he kept his word and played his guts out for a program that was neutered by bogus sanctions even when he had the chance to run the other way, then shame on them.

Honestly, who gives a crap. Hack is now an NFL. guy. I personally think it was unintentional but at the same time could care less if it wasn't. I am confident no one that matters to our success cares including recruits.

29 of the 30 NFL coaches are not named Bill O'Brien. I believe Hackenberg made a big mistake not including Franklin in his NFL announcement. It is now a topic he will have to answer for at the combine. This was also mentioned on nfl.com as something teams will be looking at. He may have cost himself some spots in the upcoming draft and thus some money. A stupid decision by from all accounts a smart person.

Are you michnitlions male civil partner? Has he been cheating on you and you are trying to stroke his ego to bring him home?

Idiotsabound on this board!

Jameis Winston's draft stock did not suffer. Period.

He forgot to pay for the crab legs, the sex was consentual and he was having a bad day when he decided to jump on tables in the student Union and scream foul words at multiple women. As for the failed drug test, it was a sesame seed bagel.

As much as I like Hack for coming to PSU and bringing others with him, I think he is a bit of a headcase. This shows a bit of lack of maturity and professionalism. NFL teams might think, I wonder if he disagrees with our system if he'll make it personal?
The comment will not affect him at all. He's a kid that will interview well with teams too.

I have no doubt that Hack's comments were noticed.

Also --- he has had 48 hours now to say something like "my comments from Saturday have received a bit of negative press, I want to say that I really appreciated Coach Franklin's efforts on my behalf over the last 2 years. I made a mistake by not mentioning him specifically on Saturday and I wish to correct any negative vibes that resulted from such."

Hackenberg, of course, hasn't said that. If I were his advisor, I'd suggest Franklin say such (even if Hackenberg thinks Franklin is the Devil Reincarnate).

And Bob has had 52 weeks now to clarify putting his fist through Dave Jones' windshield or something.

Get over it, he is in the PSU history book, a member of the Lettermens club, etc. Time to focus on McSorley.

Hack didn't thank his mom or dad either. Headline: Hack hates his parents!

Hack didn't thank Jesus either. Headline: Hack hates Jesus!

C'mon, kids! This is a kid speaking extemporaneously into a camera. I have no idea what I would say or how I would say it under such circumstances. But I know some of you would tear each syllable apart and impart meanings to all of it that I never dreamed of.

Please stop. It's embarrassing.

He also didn't thank his teammates. Headline: Hack hates his teammates.

Bottom line, who cares? If he left Franklin out intentionally, so what? If he did it accidentally, so what? What does it matter? Why does it possibly make a difference? How is it any reflection on Franklin or Hack?

In the scheme of things, it's meaningless. Hack's combines, workouts, etc., will have a much bigger role,to play on his draft status than any perceived omission in a short interview. Arm strength, accuracy, foot speed, ability to read defenses are all the NFL cares about, and all they should be looking at.

Frankly after watching the video of the short hallway press session where he said this, i am far less concerned about this oversight than i was when just reading about it here. This can all be explained away as just not thinking quickly on his feet while answering press questions.

See --- here's the thing. Hackenberg, or at least his advisors --- he must have heard something about how his comments have been perceived over the last 48 hours.

This could all go away if Hackenberg just takes 1 minute and says "oops, I should have mentioned Coach Franklin on Saturday, it was an error of omission. I thank him for his efforts to help me over the last 2 years."

Hackenberg doesn't even have to believe that. Simply suck it up and say it.

Yet, 48 hours later. Crickets.

Leaders --- true leaders --- know that the skies will not always be blue in life. They don't go burning bridges and setting wildfires though during those cloudy periods.

LOL -- My god, you're an idiot. Nobody, other than (apparently) you, gives a crap. By him going through the effort to put out another statement, he gains nothing -- And now invites risk by bringing attention to an otherwise non-issue.

When there's no up-side to an action, an only a downside, you don't take that action. Geesh.

This is absolutely ridiculous

His omission / oversight means nothing. His play and potential mean everything.

If raping a girl doesn't drop your draft status, I doubt omitting someone's name in a press release will.

Who cares about the draft? I don't.

Hack did not show any class or maturity in this instance. It may not be important on the football field, but I did expect more maturity from him in this situation.
I would expect a hell of a lot more maturity from YOU in this situation.

ACK!! Who am I kidding?? I don't even know who you are! Why would I have ANY expectations?
Probably another ignorant drama queen with the intellectual development of a pom-pom girl.

NFL couldn't care less about Hack's statement. As LaVar hinted at the beginning of the season it was no secret the coaching situation was a questionable fit for Hack. PSU could have brought in an experienced offensive co-ordinator to run a pro set when Donovan was given the job and they failed to do so. When Donovan was let go and Moorhead is brought in I'm sure Hack regarded it as icing on the cake. I'm not saying Franklin should have gone pro set because thats not who he is. I think he was trying to make the best of a 2 or 3 year situation and it was a tough trick.

Well, in the meantime, his comments will be used as a negative by Penn State's competitors.

This is a good opportunity for Hackenberg to show that he "bleeds blue and white" (a direct quote of his from Saturday).

It just takes 10 seconds to make comment (a).
If I were a recruit, I'd be much more worried about sharing a locker room with a disease vector like Jabrill Peppers. I'd probably stock up my locker with baby wipes and bleach to disinfect anything that guy touches
