I know Mark rubs some opposing fans the wrong way but I was really impressed with him post match. He was nice enough to give his head gear to one of the kids sitting mat side and then signed autographs for a minute or so before going into the tunnel. Pretty good stuff for someone coming right off the mat after a tough loss.

His reaction last year , minutes after losing, by greeting Bo right off the platform tells you all you need to know.

The kid has already competed on worldwide stages. I truly think he is all about the process & journey

Can we talk about Jason's interview with Quint too? He didn't have to defend Berger there (and he could have taken an opposite approach, and no one would have been very bothered about it), but he did, and he did at length. I don't mind a little air guitar or whatever here and there, but that kind of class is one of the things that makes this sport great. Dang, I'm going to miss that guy.

I’d like to talk about it but the arena wasn’t kind enough to play it over the audio system so everyone in attendance could hear :(

I think the key to that entire team is the message they are receiving. When Cael says, “it’s just wrestling, so many other things in life much more important..” they truly live it. It’s why you see acts like this from Mark.

A lot is said about Cael being able to pull in so many kids with only 9.9. It’s a complete mystery to me why many in other fanbases are confused and haven’t figured it out yet. Parents want their kids to be mentored by God loving, caring, sincere people that reminds them constantly of what’s really important in life. True, the PSU staff can coach the sport as well but no one can tell me that to the parent, that part takes a back seat to the life lessons they will be learning daily. In my book, Cael is coach of the year....every year!

A couple of wrestlers who said in their postmatch interviews that their opponents "quit" or didn't want to wrestle the whole match really rubbed me the wrong way. Jason was much more gracious.
