Well thats not good news regardless of your opinion on the situation in totality.
Eggum getting named acting coach puts the whole thing on J, which is maybe what he wanted. As no way they name Eggum if he at all participated in the coverup.

It is time MN ends this and moves on. It appears they want to move on from J, but both sides need to get their ducks in a row legally I guess, and they haven't done that yet.

Until they have a final resolution on J's status, not sure how this helps their program. Eggum was already the de facto acting head coach.
I think that it is safe to assume that "acting head coach" will become "head coach". The investigation will continue to be dragged out until people no longer care about the outcome and the administration's dirty fingerprints are no longer legible. J will resign with a negotiated contract buyout and the knowledge that he took one for the team.
HOT TAKE: Mini soda should've moved on from JRob regardless. A big name hire would do a lot to revitalize the program

Too bad he didn't wrestle freestyle throughout his 20s, but good for PSU in the end that he went into coaching early.
