Happy Mardi Gras!

I attended three of these when I was still single, 1975,1976 and 1977. It was really crazy. Friendly crowd but you had to watch out for the temporary cops. We stayed right in the French Quarter so we could drink and party, rest, drink and party, repeat.
The parades were awesome.
Unfortunately, the tradition of women flashing had not started yet.
Anybody else been there?

just got back the other day. Lived there for a long time and one of my first places was one block in off the parade route. Great times.

My daughter,PSU Senior, continued to tell me how much fun she was having at Mardi Gras this year.

Evidently this was not a good enough spring break as she is leaving today from NoLa to go to South Beach for 4 days.

I am spending my evenings watching Netflix.

My family and me are riding a Mardi Gras float at Universal Studios in Florida this Monday. Gonna make 'em work for their beads.
